Adding real life photos then going over it with your artwork gives it a whole new level of realism, works out really well! Also enhances details that would normally not be there!

Yeah, I was actually surprised with how well the face structure came out after applying it to my own face. But then I ruined it with shading xD Almost.

Not at all! It looks great. :3 It's definitely a style adjustment from what you usually draw, from what I can see; normally furry faces are a little shallower in the jaw, I think. But you're remarkably adaptable when it comes to making your style work for whatever it needs to. I'm impressed.

Also, DAMN I wish I could shade like you. XD

I knew what the problem was with the last one. I just can't draw faces at that angle and by the time I realized I screwed up, I had already put too much effort into it to go back.

Thanks! It's actually been some fun practice with "painting", something I really want to do more of. This allows me to have an anatomically correct image, that belongs to myself, and give me a direction to go with lighting, allowing me to focus on the fun parts(tails :O)
