Wait, so you don't care for the show, yet choose not to hate it? WHAT A CONCEPT.
Honestly, more people like you need to exist. I try to keep from slamming the pony thing in people's faces (well, unless you count this, in which case I really AM slamming it in people's faces), and not attract any negative attention to the fandom. I won't force anyone to watch the show, I won't force anyone to look at the fanart, I won't force anyone to LIKE any of it, but all I ask is that if you hate it, please try and find a way to deal with it; don't be such a baby about a kids' show. Kudos to you for being one of the more mature people (from what I've seen) on this site.

The way I see it is, there is (or at least should be) no reason to get worked up about it. After all it 'IS' just a cartoon who's target audience is young children, so where's the problem? Just let whoever wants to watch it, watch it. It saves a lot of time and makes everyone feel better.
The problem with most people, of course, is that they can't see past the surface and automatically label it "gay." And for some reason, they'd rather us bend to their will and leave. And until that happens, they won't keeps their mouths shut about it. I'll be damned as to why they won't leave well enough alone.
Another interesting commentary... I guess I am similar because I don't watch the show, but it doesn't really bother me (although I will admit to sometimes getting tired of deleting all the ponies that show up in my new submissions... but I'm not going to "hate" anyone over that).
