This was my first experiment with fur, worn at ConBust 2010. I still need to finish them (hooves and tail, mostly), and they definitely aren't... the best thing ever. But it was a pretty fun project. Even though I'm still picking up tiny pieces of foam here and there. I'll need to get some better photos of these at some point, hm.
Horns were bought at a ConBust vendor the year before. And are awesome. Belt/bodice/wooden sword bought from various ren faire vendors.
Dressed as a pirate because an awesome author was there (Cat Valente), whose book In the Night Garden had an awesome female pirate satyr character. Who'd fallen in love with a selkie. My selkie obsession is an inside joke within my group of tabletop friends XD.
