Here's how this works: I scan in the pencils, then use some layering tricks to convert it to light cyan. This makes it easier to drop out the rough pencils after I ink it. This gets printed out and then inked. Before I ink it though, I try to decide between a nap and a nap in a can. Energy drink in hand, I move on to the inking. Weapon of choice: Pilot Precise V5 extra fine. Still xerox paper.
