The drawing being shown here is the third to last of the 21 commissions that I'd been doing for 
train for the last few years.
The picture shows Lady Liberty standing with several of the National Heroines.
The heroines with her are, from left to right: Mexicali, the National Heroine of Mexico; Lady Canuck, the National Heroine of Canada: Calypso, the National Heroine of Jamaica; Germania, the National Heroine of Germany; Mother Russia, the National Heroine of Russia; Lady Europa, the National Heroine of the European Union; Helvetia, the National Heroine of Switzerland and, lastly, Italia, the National Heroine of Italy. With LL in the middle, that's a total of nine heroines in all.
The picture itself took me over a month to do, from the basic pencil outline, to the final inks. And I still need to color it, so it'll probably take me about a few more days, before it is completely finished.
Anyway, I'll let train explains the reason for the picture.
The color version is coming soon.
