nah, it's not just you. I've definitely noticed the whole "apathy is cool, enthusiasm is for retards" movement take hold over the last few years.

I wonder if people find it just so much easier to tear something down than find value in it. :p

Yeah, I think a few too many people have taken Foamy's message too far, believing that anything anyone shows enthusiasm about is not worth their time because the person praising it is (gasp) a FANBOY!

It's really depressing when people just close themselves off like that, I personally remain open to the possibility that something people like can be cool until I've seen enough of it myself to be sure one way or the other, though there are exceptions...

Heh, I'm halfway thru Megaman 9 right now. They did a nice job w/ all the weapons this time around.

To be honest, there's a huge gap between my Megaman experiences. I played the first six, and then I didn't get to play another Megaman game again until the Battle Network games on the GBA. Although I think I know a way to remedy that, heheh.

Ooh, did you catch the Megaman Zero Series?! Loved those games- tho... I can't help but feel like the writers had a vendetta against Poor Megaman-X. I mean, he kinda DIES in 3 of the 4 games.
I got into the X series dispite my lack of a game-system. Plus i had some Megaman games on the Oldschool Gameboy.

I only played a demo of one of them for maybe... five-ish minutes, I think. Wish I could say that I've played all of them, but I haven't been that lucky.

Nothing wrong with being passionate about something, just so long as you don't attack people with it.

The only hurdle is finding someone who shares your exact level of enthusiasm.
If you're more enthusiastic, you're hyperactive.
If you're less enthusiastic, you're a third wheel.
So unless you're willing to match their enthusiasm card for card, you're better off saying nothing.
