I can't believe I haven't uploaded a pic of my pride and joy! Here she is, 1,470 cc's of Japanese power. A 1998 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 Classic. And what better way to show her off than in picturesque New Hampshire with the white mountains in the background. Rear seat has been removed until I shave it down so it doesn't dig into my back. No windshield, Kuryakyn grips, shifter, and brake pedal, mustang seat and everything else is stock. Hoping to put some new pipes on and eventually get some hard bags. She's got plenty of get-up-and-go; I've got her up to about 95mph and still haven't topped out. She's an experienced old girl, about 48k miles, roughly 1,500 of which I put on over the summer. The only thing I don't like, there's not a 6th gear.
Oh, and then there's me, I guess. My super special German WWII style helmet and goggles that fit right over me glasses. Vroom vroom!

I'm not sure why I like the Stahlhelm, or any part of the Nazi army uniforms--but I've heard they were designed to look good as well as be functional.
