A scan of the miniatures I made up for my test players before they were cut out and folded up. One of the features Star Captains will have when it hits print will be basic templates for making inexpensive paper miniatures for both characters and ships, giving players a quick and easy way to have attractive miniatures in a game focused on tactical grid combat.

As before, the "1 inch" indicator shows the actual scale these were made up in. Despite using watercolors on these as opposed to the colored pencil for the other miniatures, they came out rather sloppy-looking IMO. At the very least, they demonstrate on a basic level how the templates for the ship paper-minis will be for the final game.

Both these ships are "SF-3 Star Eagle"-class fighters. They were the first ships my first two play testers purchased at character creation. Star Eagles are cheap, all-purpose fighter craft that can handle atmospheric flight as well as inter-planetary space.

I'll eventually be posting weekly updates on the various races and ships available in the game, complete with basic descriptions, histories, and concept art. Stay tuned!
