Thanks! I actually learned that he's supposed to have one eye as well, but the first time I saw him he looked like a furrier Beast-man with one huge leg. So he's somewhat portrayed differently!

I was gonna do something to this nature. I love Japanese monsters. (Tech has a Rijuu sealed in him as one of the great monsters in my story.) My favorite has been Rijuu and snow ladys. I also started studying some more after I played Okami, I used to have a composition dedicated to monsters but my dad's side of the family threw out all my stuff when I joined the Military so I have to start over. (I study ALOT of different things. One shelf of my bookshelf was nothing but my composition books.)

Awesome! And that's another new Yokai in my dedicated database! Having a Yokai sealed within? Seems a bit Naruto-ish, but its still great to know that Tech has an explanation of his powers!
Sorry to hear that your composition got thrown out... I would be heartbroken to know something I have been working on been destroyed... But at least you can try to make it all better the 2nd time around! ^__^

I know, sucky thing is I wrote Tech's main story before I knew what Naruto was =_= That's why I'm taking so long to get back into my comic because obviously me and the creator of Naruto think alike. Anyways, The Ryjuu has never been the main point like the Kubii is in Naruto.

And yea. Like 5 stories including Tech's, 10 scetch books, and books about recepies, drawing styles, crafts, everything, gone. It kinda sucks but I had fun making them so I'll have fun making them again.

Oh, and that sandal is totally licking his foot.

ACK! I just realized that... But Ippon is kind to other Yokai's since he's a respected demon, and loves all the beings and some humans if they have managed to earn his respect. So I guess Bakezouri has no eyes nor taste for anything else but feet!

He makes other people's love for feet seem nothing more than a passing thought. lol.

Yokai's don;t get that much love from the western audience for they are of a different culture...! So I decided to give them some respect and love in showing them! ^__^

Heh! Karakasa are well known since they have appeared in some Mario and Kirby games, so that's why I've known them!

Plus, I still like how they will attack you with their only sandal if threatened!

But Hoot-Hoot has 2 legs, while Ippon only has one!

But just like Hoot-Hoot, they are both wise...!

Hoot-Hoot still looks like he has 1 leg and hops around on it X3

Now worries, he uses his one big foot to pump air into the hellish fires to tamper the flames when making or fixing a sword!

So that its main use, while stomping could be the 2nd one! And don't worry, I like to be "Pun"ished!

Actually Karakasa has a tendency of wailing his tongue out too! I don;t know why I didn't make him do it though...

Not quite sure what story includes all of them, but "The Great Yokai War" was heavily inspired to do this since it has a abundant amount of Yokais from know ones to even less talked about ones too!

You might find it showing on your local cable, or find it on DVD in a oriental shop! (Or online, if you go that route too)

I'll take a look but I was meaning the story about those yokais in the folklore what does they do? ^^'

Ah! Sorry!

Yokai's are basically demons that haunt the wicked and cause mischief to humans. Some are helpful, some are evil, so most of these guys are there to just spook the living. Ippon-datara has more respected role as a Yokai, just like the Tengu and does bidding to whoever seeks for him. The other three are basically souls possessing thrown out items, and take life to haunt.
