Thanks. I do feel like I should be more open to experimentation; a lot of the people here seem pretty accepting. I just feel... like all my ideas are stupid. I dunno.

Well... I highly doubt they're stupid because any idea can help an artist refine their technique... Even if they are stupid, by putting them on paper or the digital equivalent you get them out of the way... and you may be surprised how many of them are gems. Either way though, do whatever you feel is best and know that many here love your art.
