Some might know of my comic LND. I had such a bigger story of it.
Angels and Demons never stopped the war in heaven. Always fighting for the gates. The Green Fox who rejected heaven unintentionally resurrected his corpse. While the soul went to find his soul mate and save her from a doomed existence, the corpse searches for meaning and his lost soul. Equipped with only the memories of his past existence and the help of a bystander, the body must not only survive the grasps of damnation but also the blade of salvation.
The demons see an opportunity in this, that if a soulless corpse can exist against the laws of nature and make a choice of morality between saving a life or taking a life, then God's system is flawed. The angels need to destroy the corpse before this happens and return the soul back through judgement and set the order right.
This is a random mythology piece and is not trying to be truthful
Here the corpse wanders down the streets, either unaware or ignoring the battle behind him.
I never colored a demon before so it was fun coming up with how it should glow. Also a fun additive is the weight of the fur. The angel is lifted and light, his fur and clothes almost weightless, while the demon is filled with burden, and heavy thus the weight added to his clothes.
