Basically this is one of my specially designed and bred 'security guards' to keep prying paws away from places they shouldn't be near anyway. They do not ever digest.. but they do hold their 'prey' indefinitely. Though at most they would drain a little energy to keep themselves going. Though beware.. they are not as obvious as I have drawn them here. They tend to lurk inside walls and ceilings, preferring to more often use their vines to drag their prey inside to where their maws lay waiting.
