Very astute of you. Yes, there are wires running through there that would otherwise ruin the shot. For the sake of a more natural, outdoorsy feel, I did digitally remove them.

Funny thing is that we stopped by a restaurant in that area after taking pictures in Whittier. I changed back in the restaurant parking lot some distance away from what I thought were the heavily trafficked areas only to find that I was standing in front of polarized glazed windows in what would be the main outlooking windows of said restaurant.
