So when I started doing the Sinestro Corps art, it was posited to me what manner of Lantern the great 'Yote would be. Never one to let a question go, my brain kept working on that. Somewhere in all that, a notion hit me of an image I wanted to do which became the birthday-type gifty thing I present here!

Okidoki and rival 
calamity_cougar in a super-heroic test of power- White Lantern Okidoki vs. The Incredible Calamity. *smiles* The more I thought about it, the more I just had to do it, and it seems a fitting birthday-type gifty thing. Serendipity, baby!
I'll leave it up to consensus how this would go. *grins* Me, I've found both fellows to be pretty great men in a world short of people being great to each other.

Man... I can just see Calamity being like "Y'all better not make me angry... y'all won't like me when ah'm angry... ... WRRRAGH! REDNECK SMASH!"
I have no idea who would win... it would simply be... well... an epic battle for the ages, whoever won. I'd pay money to see it!

Not... quite... the same kind of dancing as I would be suggesting love, not exactly a couples event.... though it could be. I have done that kind of performance as well. *grins* Though generally I only worked solo shows. Though my old profession did have me removing clothing and such, I could still perform for a group without quite going there, yes?
Well, that's definitely interesting, but honestly I don't know you well enough to answer that love.
It's a funny thing, very telling about people as a whole. "What color light would you wield?"Most people... after they throw out the obligatory "I'm a furry-gay-tee-hee-ho-ho rainbow ghey dee-da" *groans* will generally answer in a knee-jerk response as what they would like to see themselves as, the traits they think of themselves as having or what they find appealing. "I'm a tough guy, I'd be red, grr rage rawr!" Or green or blue, good person, hope for the best, blah-bloo-blee-blah. But they don't seriously consider that. They only see superficial things, likes and surface tensions, interests and commonalities. They don't think about themselves... *chuckles* or their lives, quite enough to draw a real conclusion. "Has my life of 20 years, sitting in front of my PC, playing CoD and watching cartoons really merited me a ring of anything? Would a magic power band of other-worldy origins look at my doughy cheeto-eating unemployed ass and say I have great willpower, the ability to overcome fear? Foooor what...? Moving in with the first girl I had sex with?" Not likely...
People who know me from online would just giggle-spit something about yellow because they're the "bad guys" and as much as I 'hate' My Little Pony, I'd be one, right? *snofts* Which shows an amazing level of ignorance for both my view of the subject matter and me as a person. People who know me well enough in life would say I'd have to actually be a Star Sapphire... and not a very "good" one. Like Carol Ferris, yes, but not the new level-headed version. "Love Lost hearts shine with violet light" and so on... But as well as I know myself and how I would handle such power, I know I would eventually at least act in a manner befitting the Sinestro Corps. I would be a yellow lantern because there is one thing, one BIG thing I care enough about that to see that dream fulfilled I would justify doing some pretty horrible things. And I would not apologize for them.
Am I a good person? Most would say so, yes. But what drives me, what lengths would I go to for it? Would I be the villain? *head tilts* Possibly, depend on who you asked, but in the end, I would be on Sinestro's buddy list and my ring would be yellow...

Yeah I know me well enough to say that green sure as hell isn't my corps. I know I'm a compassionate person which would probably suit me up for a blue lantern. However I'm not gonna shy away from a fight and I know me. So I think realistically,(and try not to hate me for it corps wise), I'd probably end up with a red ring. I'd see myself as a mellow red lantern as unlikely as it sounds. Yes I'd be laid back and not itch for a fight. But if i'm pushed, odds are I'd be the last one standing in the crowd. I'm not ever going to call myself a tough guy, but I'm no push over.

All lanterns feel from all over the spectrum, but it's the points of character that draw the rings to them from what I've seen. Hal Jordan himself has been Green, Yellow, Orange, Blue, Black, White and Red, but in the end his drive is one of just his will to do as he feels is right, free of tethers. Thus, green...
I know from what I've read, and I do loves me some light wars, (Just snagged up 'Blackest Night- Black Lantern Corps Book 1 and 2 yesterday *points to herself* Nerd girl...) red lanterns would be a pretty rare bunch in the furry fandom. People so filled with hate, not 'dislike' or 'annoyance', but real learned, honest-to-jeezus HATE that they would turn into "semi-mindless animals" as described in the books, vomiting out napalm almost indiscriminately, "barely capable of conscious thought, much less conversation"... Atrocitus is thus far the only one with words coming out of his face other than "BLAAAAAURGH!!" and "RAAUGH!!". Hate is a very powerful word to me, one I use pretty rarely and only in matters of severe distress and continued oppression of the spirit.

*offers coke and chocolate syrup*I'm not one full of hate to be honest. I just know i'd either end up with a red because I was caught on an off day or blue. I took one of those online test and it says i'd be a blue lantern. But they have no offensive capabilities so *shrugs* I think the best two word reason i'd end up as a red is "righteous fury"

I think it depends upon how it's used, 'Hope'. *snifs* As it's honestly my hope that the world can and will get better in time that has kept me as level as I am over the years. Hope is what keeps me positive, faith in myself and that with determination and sacrifice I can make my vision of the world a reality in time. I know at several points in the series the blue lantern Saint Walker has used his ring to show others what it is they hope for and given them pause, causing them to stop what they were doing or outright flip sides in a conflict, even Atrocitus.

you know you got a good point. I guess being a blue lantern wouldnt be that much of a punishment. Besides i could still kick ass. Besides I did some digging into lantern lore. If i was a red i wouldn't have a heart. I'll stick with blue. I'd be able to make constructs and the test did say i'd be one anyhow
