Well, I Have only just started learning about Binary in computer science or whatever class, so I Don't know that much about it myself, but from my understanding, Binary is the way that a computer sees text, like for example "01001000 01101001" is "Hi" in Binary, if you were to use http://home.paulschou.net/tools/xlate/ and put the binary 01001000 01101001 into it and hit Decode on the binary option, in the text box you should see "Hi" without the quotation marks ^^;
well, not the only form of communication, I Mean, like websites, they are made from HTML So, for example this pages HTML Would possibly (this is an educated guess to the HTML Of FA BTW, don't take it as factual!) be like:
