Ahhh these have been so great! You're wonderful at keeping the attention of a reader. Hell, I've re-read the comic over twice now because it's worth it. I'm eager to know about your characters more. Like the reflection shot with the goggles!

Thanks! I'm glad I can provide some entertainment and interest. As for the reflection...you know...originally I was just going to re-draw that frame, only with the gun no longer spinning its barrels. I tried to see it as a movie in my head...as I usually do when drawing...and that reflection shot is what seemed to belong.

Aha, one of my favorites on here! Just glad I found ya. Thinking in movie terms is the best for comics, I've always really liked the ones that go outside the panels, so to say.

I try and have thinks poke out of the panels when I think it enhances things or means something. While I might not really know what I'm doing, I've kind of developed a theory and set of rules I follow. For example...the two panels that don't have borders are wide open spaces. Hopefully not having borders conveys the enormity of the area.

I have other lil things I try.

Keep going! Your technique and skillez keep getting better. And that's what it takes. practice practice practice! (work work work, which when fun, is merely practice... kind of like masturbation is practice for sex. :)

If you go to https://www.rustedtusks.com and look at the very first comic page I drew 2 years ago and go through 105 or so pages I've drawn of SLOP you can see a nifty progression of art and style. Say there's an average of 7 frames per page... that's 735 separate drawings I've done. Every page is practice.

The other trick has been to try and not stay in my comfort zone. The comic forces me to draw angles I've never drawn...critters I've never drawn. It forces me to work on a background now and then. I have to draw objects.

I've got a long way to go before I feel proficient, but I do think I got a knack. Just takes work work work to expand it beyond that.
