Its actually a prequel to the John Carpenter version. Its not that bad actually. Me and the 7 freinds I went with were freaked out pretty well by the end of it XD

Don't get too down on your own work, this is still brilliant, m'dear. Lots of little elements in this come together very well. The alternating teeth, the eye, the pebbly, reptilian skin... all good.
