Joints popped, the last two fingers on each hand fusing together, his thumb shortening to become just another digit. Blunt dark claws replaced his fingernails.

All of that was nothing compared to the sudden pain in his skull as his jaw reshaped itself, ears moving visably up the sides of his head and curling over slightly. The tip of his nose turning black and wet, a muzzle taking shape on the former human's face. An explosion of new scents invaded his senses, almost lost in the changes ravaging his body.
