Am I proud? Yes, they push that into your brain during boot. and Yes I show off my Marine corps stuff. BUT I always put others before me.

And yes the blues are that way on purpose

eh, their thing is "The Few. The Proud." but i dont see why most marines have to be jerks about it. my ex said he thought air force was disgusting because they occasionally go out in their camo or jumpsuit in town. kinda insulted me since I'll be on an aircrew next year.

Well, tell him this. Marines have the ONLY combat exclusive Camies. THAT is why we don't where them to town, because they are a combat pattern. all the other camies (as far as I know) are under a different classification of utility.

we no longer talk lol. i just told him maybe they were tired after their hard day of work and just wanted to go out for a burger without having to get all prepped lol. I think it;s cool to see the uniform out and about, reminds you of them. I get to go live on a base in a few month and see them all the time, even meet people that do the jobs i want to go in for

im excited. went to my first air show last week (Fleet Week in San Fran) and seeing all the jets made me more ready to go Air Force. Nice to know and talk to people form each branch :)
