This is a miniature I made for
It's an amalgam of his fursona and his D&D character for a group we just started.
The figure is an GamesWorkshop/Citadel Miniature Frodo Baggins modified with some green stuff (self hardening, two-part epoxy clay) for the muzzle and ears. Also clipped off sting and glued on a crossbow. It stands about an inch tall.
Fun part is now I want to go back with some metal paints and do the details on the vest and backpack XD aaah digital photography, how you make my figures look worse.

My fav putty for sculpting nowadays is ProCreate - it's so much more pleasant to work with than green stuff. It has a work time of about an hour, and is considerably firmer - so you don't have to worry about parts sagging so much while it dries. It's also not quite as aggravatingly sticky, though it is still fairly so.
I haven't used those, but I imagine they're probably somewhat comparable. I think anything with a drying time shorter than green stuff's abysmally-long 24 hour cure would be good. I get my ProCreate from the WarStore, usually, it's hard to find in regular stores (I work in a gaming shop and we can't get it from our distributors, usually, boo).
oh right, right! You're at that store up in Bethlehem... (note the grinding sound as the gears start to turn inside my head)
I'm trying to think where I've heard of/seen ProCreate before... There's a Jo-annes, Michaels, Hobby Town USA, ShowCase Comics (they are over half miniature gaming, guy does alot of GamesWorkshop stuff), and another HObby Town USA type store near-ish.... also an awesome board game place near-ish in west chester

Hehe, I have a fair amount of Warmachine figures still sealed in the box. I started to get into it, but never got past buying the stuff X3
