Would you get this close to this big lady? I'm not sure why I did!
Shortly after this shot was taken, a wasp came by to harrass the spider. She didn't like it and wigged out inches away from me, which nearly made me crap my pants. :P
My arachnophobia has gotten better, but I still freak out when GIANT spiders go nuts inches away. :P
Nephila clavipes. Golden-silk orb weaver. Locally known as the banana spider.
