And for the record, I wasn't implying it was. I just figured that if the trickster was imprisoned in the mask, perhaps it would leave after he wore it and change his body into a kitsune or whatever.

Yes, I am aware of Majora's mask and how similar the ideas are. However, in the game, the mask could never alter your body when you wore it. ONly take over your mind. The mask if you recall made its own body in the final boss battle and before that was just using the boy as a host, giving Skull Kid power, but not warping his body.
