I may have mentioned this elsewhere, but I remember the premier of The World of Atom Ant and Secret Squirrel. It was a one-hour special aired in the U.S. on prime time (on 12 September 1965). It featured a mix of animation and live-action segments with Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera. I don't think it has ever been rebroadcast or released onto DVD.

Haha, I may heard from you, but I've forgotten it. The dete I wrote is said by Hanna-Barbera trading card. So Should I celebrate him at September 12 in next year? =)

I prefer the (comparatively) more recent one from 2 Stupid Dogs... to the point where I felt he should've gotten his own show instead of playing second fiddle. As a kid, I'd only watch 2 Stupid Dogs for the Secret Squirrel episodes. He just has a more streamlined look and sounds sexier.

I like the original version; a spoof of James Bond movies is funny when the hero is cute and cuddly, not so much when he looks like a weasel. Also, the original lived in a world that included the human Chief and Yellow Pinkie, who were a lot better IMO than their counterparts in the 2SD Squirrel's world.

If they ever make a Secret Squirrel movie, I hope they use the 1960s design for the characters... and that Yellow Pinkie will be the villain.

I see. Currently I love 2SD version, it was good the world with human chief and Pinkie.

Secret Squirrel movie would be 3DCG for recent age? If so, I think classic design is better for that. And I hope humans would be real actors. :)
