Chrono in the future, change name to Gravy. He changed his name after getting his cutiemark and changed his look from another ponies help.

He lays low in Ponyville to hide from his brother and "Mother" as he secretly~constantly shields a barrier around Equestria (To protect against his Brother and "Mothers" attacks.

Doing so (the barrier), drains his energy and causes him to look tired throughout the day. Since "Mother" and Tactics are light, they would not attack at ngiht, so he rests off the barrier at night and rests just to recharge and have to repeat the process over and over... for Equestria. It's not good for him but he cares about his "Friendship " and Applejack : P

His power has changed since he rebels against "Mother"'s plans to rid everything to change it into a so-called "Sanctuary" with only Alicorns. She can only carry the plan with using Tactic's freezing ice to freeze everyone and the environment, and using Gravy's power to gravitate everything, then drop and crash everything to gravity 9999.

Gravy is in disadvantage, he is dark. "Mother" is a Light-crazy user and his brother Tactic is both Dark and Light. He is powerless against them :C

Sounds... scary, right?

Well yea... so... everyday.. life draining barrier for life, unless "Mother" and Tactic is banished somewhere XD
