Lyrics taken from "The Sons of Fate" by The Protomen.
This line in particular always strikes me and is one of my favorites. I've often imagined similar senarios to what plays out in The Protomen album with other series and characters. And really, a scene like this one kind of fits into the destroyed future Silver came from in Sonic'06. And generally speaking, Shadow just looks badass when he's acting like this.

I don't know what'cher quotin, But I'll run with it.
It's easy to percieve the world as spineless. No one hears the voices of the courages, the ones willing to stand up to might, because those in power simply strike them down and silence them.
I know, I've seen these things, I've witnessed them first hand. A man who used Science to create more plentifal and resiliant crops to feed potentially thousands, silenced by a group with a poletical agenda...
There is, as we speak, a cure for cancer, But the drug for this cure is a generic, unpatinable drug like penecillin. It's not profitable, and these people cannot receave the funding needed for thair reserch.
If I could give my life to make a great diffrence, and make these voices heard, I would gladly do so.
I cannot stand by idly and hear you tell me that humanity has no spine..
