Oh look a Domehound
It only took me 3 years to draw them again. I'm so timely.
I guess this is a revamp? I made him a little to muscular, they normally are more fluffy, I guess this one's a bit older then.
Man, I love drawing with green, such a fun color.
I'll give a short bit of information on them since I redid some things.
-They are a genetically made species, a mixture of alien and animal genetics. They can grow from the size of a German Shepard to a Lion depending on how long they live and how well they're cared for. The red tubes on their backs help their blood flow since they have relatively weak hearts, the tubes are extremely hard to break. They are blind and use two heat sensing pits on each side of their head near the back to detect people, the other pits is actually for smell and breathing purposes. They also are very inept at sensing vibration to capture prey. They're natural born contortionists and are known for bending into strange shapes when excited. Normally they are a playful lovable species, only when rabid do the actually become threats to people. Some have mutations which are quite common in the breed, they usually have to do with poison glads or bone growths. (ex. under bites/over bites, longer backs, "horns")
Domehounds are an open species so if anyone wants to make one they can, I'd love to see them. :)
