I found this little guy in the yard over the summer. I thought I would share it with you all now, cute as a button.

"Put you finner in my mouf sos I can noms it!" X3
I don't see turtles as often these days, but do randomly. One time there was one in the middle of the highway as I drove by. So I turn around, get out, and pick him up to finish crossing the road...and he took a wuge piddle to say "Put me down!" *chirkle* So I did in the grass of the ditch.
Toads widdle a lot too in this regard, picking them up (in gloves, as I'm mowing usually) to move them so I don't mow them. I don't see them much unless we have a wet summer.

Well I do have to agree that seeing turtles is rare for me also I would be so luck if to at least find one once a year. before this one last summer it was not since like 2006 I found a Red eared slider in my yard, and previously not since 2001 one 4th of July Painted turtle, before that and first wild turtle seen was mid 90s summer Eastern box tortoise, so yeah rare indeed.
Glad you like this image to by the way.
