May I make the suggestion of using different colours rather than simply different shades of the same colour? The breakdown is nice, but too many divisions make distinction between some densities difficult. Otherwise a nice idea.

or just vary the shades more drastically. the only issue i see is the 2 brightest colors. i like the shades, its obvious whats what.
