so, they aren't just unusually coloured "lions", but a whole different feline species? anyway, interestign designs. I like this reboot. :)

Nah. They always were their own species. Kind of based on ted xiii/nanaki in a sense.

I only know that advent children movie, and have that posable figure of Nanaki with Caitlin standing on my shelf, that'as all In know about those characters and their stories. :) to me, initially a cat is a cat. :)

since we're talking about it, who does them their hairdo and jewelry? clearly they can't do it themselves, without functional hands... or maybe it's another case of TLK fandom syndrome? XD

I once threw around the idea that they could shapeshift but that seemed rather cliche

what if they shapeshifted like, for example, the lions in TLK which suddenly had hand-like forepaws with thumbs if the scene demanded it?

why not having two or three of them tending Dynamo's and Lunaria's fur and other stuff while they impatiently fidget around? might be an idea if you run out of slime volunteers. :)

I had the idea of a small group of nomad humans teamed up with them, and the big kitties provided as protectors to them as they ... somehow helped eachother out.
