As for the fish tacos, don't some fish scavenge of dead fish in their tank some times? Maybe they didn't add the right condiments to her fish taco.

As long as it isn't another anthrofish, I don't see a problem. Mammals eat other mammals. Humans eat pigs and, genetically speaking, we really shouldn't be.* Let's not even mention bushmeat. As long as the fish isn't sentient or close genetically it isn't a problem. From the artwork I've seen of mer people I can attest there are many who prefer the fish taco in the other sense of the term...











*Pigs are so close to humans genetically our immune system can be confused by it and not recognize it as a foreign substance. This is why pork brains are no longer harvested at large slaughter houses like Hormel any more. Employees were getting sick because the pig tissue, especially brain matter, could enter the bloodstream and cause havoc because the immune system couldn't see it as a problem.
