I'm not much of a song critic, but I suppose making it a little longer, and maybe maybe adding some vocals, though the song doesn't really need them.

Yes, obviously it will be longer. :) As for lyrics.. even if I wanted to add such a thing, I have nowhere near the voice required for this genre plus my mic is broken... so that is pretty much out of the picture

SWEET

BADASS is definitely the perfect word that I would use to describe this. Just keep up the work and this will be an awesome song. As for lyrics, generally I would say don't add any to something like this.

I WILL be keeping this an instrumental, partly because I can't sing worth a damn but mostly because my mic is.. "out of commission" so to speak. :)

Duuuude. This will be one baaaaaadass tune, here. I can totally picture some bad ass dude (or dudette!) entering a scene to this, or maybe one of those tunes that's playin' when a bar fight breaks out or something. Good for the kind of tune they introduce the 'takes no bullshit' member of the cast to. No matter how you slice it, the tune was made for feeling like you run the joint, and it does it well. It positively throbs with it, infusing the listener with the feeling.

I'm looking forward to seeing this one reach it's prime. Shame about the mic, though. I'm mildly inclined to disagree about your singing (I feel some past entries have shown that in the right genre, you're perfectly suited to it, maybe in a Cash-ish way?), it's a shame about the mic. Just the same, I'd even consider experimenting myself, but no matter what, I'd insist on an instrumental version, even if a totally solid vocal track came to be. This is one of those tunes that just works, man.
