I recently received word from my dad that our family dog Oswald Von Schnapps, AKA "Ozzie," had to be put down a couple of days ago due to suffering from cancer. If you remember the Von Schnauzer family Christmas image from last winter, this dog was the inspiration behind Steve Von Schnauzer's son Ozzie. Of all the schnauzers we've had, he was the only one with a pitch black coat of fur after puppyhood. May he rest in peace.
