Definitely not a hissing cockroach. That IS a beetle of some sort. It's just about looking up all the different kinds and sorting through them to find it. But that is DEFINITELY not a cockroach. Hissing cockroaches are what's most commonly used in movies and I believe originate in Africa? Not sure without looking it up again, so don't take my word for that. Apparently native to europe and asia but has been found in north america.

Oh Gross...the hiss roach..*shutters*oooh its a type of Longhorn Beetle..we are havein problems up here with Asian Longhorn Beetles..killing the trees and wut not..im not sure if its still that way..it has been a while since hearing about it
