This is my surgery of 2009, without this injury, I would not have pursued the fandom. the plate is a Titanium plating. You can feel it through my skin. 219 more bones to go, and I'll be as good as Wolverine

During this time I was in my peak physical condition. I was at my strongest point in my life. I wanted to focus more and more on my fighting techiniques, and martial arts to get into performing again.
Then I was devastated by the injury. And it made me pursue a different course of life. I had decided to look more in-depth into the fandom. Before this time, I had only very little interest into being a furry. But I knew, when I was coming home from that deployment, I wanted to see life in a different perspective. To learn about things I had never known before. And see how beautiful the world can be by be part of a colorful and creative hobby and lifestyle. Thus I started looking at suiters and furries trying to find a new course in life, as I do every year Syber and Balto told me then, am I sure I want to spend so much money on a suit for a hobby that I may not even enjoy? They said this because I was in Okinawa, Japan, with no knowledge of the fandom at all and I was paying $1500 for a suit when I did not even have a concept art. But I knew I would enjoy it, or enjoy it my own way

Umm, hehe, okay. I used to be a Second Life guy....a lot...Big Rp'er. Occasionally saw a furry here and there. Felt interested enough to Google the furry fandom to learn more about it. Once Learned more...it turned out I was quite in common with the fandom! When I was a kid...I always wanted to be the beast like guy, the animal. Even now, when playing video games...I often play as an Anthro or animal mix if there is one.
Eventually, I declared myself furry, joined a forum, made a Fursona, made friends, joined FA, bought art! I absolutely love being a Furry! I can't wait until I get my OWN fursuit.

It didn't hurt nearly as much as you think it would did it, until the next day.
I ripped off my upper lip, separated the skin off my chin, broke my nose in 2 places, broke my front teeth, had a full deep cut an inch below my eye (thank god i was wearing goggles) past the corner of my mouth, and bit my tongue completely off and lost 2 pints of blood...
yet, I still requested no pain killers, except they gave me 1 dose of morphine right after surgery, but it dropped my heart rate too low so they really couldn't give me anything after that. it was soar as hell about a day after surgery.
I used to have pictures up, but FA said it was too graphic
