Here's another example of what I'm striving for. I thought about trying to do comics or graphic novels of other kinds, but I think this is where it's at for me. As a final draft, I'd probably hand-write the text on the left.

I'm trying to get into drawing maps, for my D&D group. Do you have any tips I should follow? I've mostly just been looking at a lot of your maps and gaming maps. Also, if I remember right, areas to the west of mountains are lush, due to rainfall. To the east, they tend to have less weather and can sometimes be a desert. Am I correct, in that?
