This is a black and white print I developed recently for my photography class. Out of the many prints I've developed so far, this one turned out the best. If I remember correctly, this was 9.5 sec @ F/8.

The numbers had puzzled me since any movement would have made the engine blurred.
Going outside just 5 minutes ago before sunrise here with those numbers and shooting traffic resulted in lots of blurring. I was trying to figure out how you'd gotten the locomotive crisply. Now I understand.

Thanks. Yeah, the style of cab on this engine was only made for Canadian locomotives (Canadian National, Canadian Pacific, British Columbia Railway and a couple others bought units from GMD, GE and MLW with this style of cab, where the bell hangs from the center with two windows on each side). These were before the widespread orders for modern wide-cab diesels, so Canadian railroads pioneered the trend, you could say
