Lazy, lazy paintjob. Background stars are obviously a photo-edit. An attempt at complex lighting. I ran out of patience with myself, and decided to whip some colours and background on it and be done with it. Still cannot cope with the slow progress of painting, my lack of patience is crippling. I need to get more patient and focused.

Nygan is a Moragi/Human spacer freeport in the far south of the galaxy, north being with the neighbor galaxy Arthos up. This particular picture shows the port buildings with the neon signage of the famous Artemis Casino at the southern pad of Nygan, which is the farthest from the main installation of the port. Nygan is a low gravity moon, orbiting a binary star system, and as such is suited for takeoff even with modestly powered deep space ships. It is one of the major hubs for ore transport to the processing plants at Garden Variety World and Proxima Venturis, which in turn provide major production power to the human space fleets.

Being partially run by human spacers, the world is heavily defended, and is always subject to the internal tensions of humankind: especially since the world doesn´t provide a father machine mainframe, it is outside of general law of the human red star constellation.

A space-dock and secondary processing facillity, and a waystation, are in orbit around Nygan, providing fuel, maintainance and resting space for ships on the way trough.

The Moragi portion of the harbour is comprised of northern pads 1 and 2, and a section of the waystation in orbit. Moragi interest is mostly in the far-ward expansion of the nearby csye, and as such, their part of Nygan is mostly a military installation.
