Yeah, my oldest is 5 years and even with him being a normal, he was my first and FAVORITE of them all. He's the one you can do anything to and not ONCE bit anybody. I get him out for the little kids when we have family visits.
I personally wouldn't buy from petco anyway. I've never bought a reptile that wasn't from a reputable breeder. It's more money to ship them, but worth it in the long run I'd say. I've seen too many sick or dying animals at petsmart and petco. (ready to rant, lol)

Moves around a little more than a ball but not fast like a corn snake. Love to take burms outside during the summer slither in the grass they love it. A very fun breed it is alot if snake and not for everyone but i love em. Not feisty though pretty chill. Like his chin rubbed.
