Roger Buckminster, Sr. was the government liason for Star Power and her Starfighters after the group was officially sanctioned to handle the growing threats of super-powered villains. .00 Buck, Roger’s nickname from his military service, was more than just a government official getting in the way though. He put his military traning to use first in organizing the Starfighters and educating them in coordinated combat. Lacking super powers of his own didn’t keep Buck on the sidelines either and was regarded as a full member of the Starfighters by the media and the Starfighters themselves. Inevitably, he got even closer many members, especially Star Power. Though married, it was widely speculated that the mother of Roger’s son was none other than Star herself and the speculation continued well after the Starfighters disbanded, the groups members retiring.

.Buck eventually became the chief of his department, moving away from Gammorah Bay for a number of years but like the Starfighters, he retired and returned just in time for Dragon Lady’s first appearance. With another rise in super activity again, Buck awaits the call to once again act as liason and hero with a new group of heroes.
