Sometimes you want something simple but tasty. These nice noodles may just be the ideal snack from the kitchens of
kaza
Difficulty: easy
What you need:
1 packet of dried raman noodles(1 tbsp. Powdered boullion if not included)
Butter(kerrygold garlic and herb butter is preferred)
2 cups water
Various spices(in this chinese 5 spice, cayenne powder and garlic powder were used)
Small pot(1 quart preferred)
Small nonstick frying pan(5-7 inch preferred)
Colander(the bowl with holes in it)
Pour 2 cups of water into small pot. Bring water to boiling point(adding a little salt will help speed up this process). Add dried raman noodles to boiling water and add powdered boullion(or flavor packet). Boil until tender. Pour noodles into colander for draining. Heat pan with 2 tbsp of butter on meduim heat. Wait until butter starts to bubble. Dump noodles into pan and spread evenly. Add various spices to top of noodles. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO MIX IN! Add butter to the top of the noodles. Cook about 5- 10 minutes until noodles are browned on bottom. Flip noodles over. Continue cooking on other side another 5- 10 minutes. Again add spices and butter to the top while cooking. Makes 1-2 serving depending on how hungry you are. Great for a snack. Can be tweaked to taste.
