[inhuman] nikitak plush examines technology
"facinating thing, this internet. you say you can even pretend to be a nikitak on that game you're playing? most intruiging."
finished the nikitak plush. somewhere in all that fluff are six limbs. four arms, and two back feet. he's very floppy and so poses easily (though can't stand on his own) and his antennea also pose.
as i said, i will be opening slots to order these after i finish the second prototype.
the hands/face/feet are sculpy, and painted with acrylic paint. the antennea are pipecleaners. the eyes are glass beads, and the body is just some really fluffy white fabric all sewn up.
nikitaks are from my comic.

And it sheds on EVERYTHING! Poodle fur is one name for it. It's also called poodle fleece, furry fleece, and I think a few other names. They need to just agree on one, finding the stuff on line is irritating. :P But I don't use it a lot, most of my projects call for straight fur. :)
Resin casting might make it faster, but I don't know if it would make it cheaper. :/ With all of the hand sculpting you do, it's totally worth the cost! :3 I know how long it takes to hand-sculpt things. With that many limbs....and then having to sew everything up...Totally worth it! :D
