Howloween Connecting Badges
Finally got this all finished up! Phew, this took forever.
I'm going to Howloween with my friends and I wanted connecting badges, costume themed of course!
Here we have:
- My boyfriend as Flynn from Tangled. Second hardest outfit on here because it's detailed enough. I chose to give him Flynn's hairstyle and color rather then his regular blond hair.
- Me as Rapunzel from Tangled. She took the longest to do with all the details and lace. It was difficult to get the colors for her dress because of the movie is shaded so much with a lot of lighting and everyone does the colors differently, sometimes drastically. This is my version of it. I gave her Rapunzel's hair and color, though her original color is various shades of orange so it matches anyways.
-
Trennicus as Wanda from Fairly odd parents. Of course, simplest outfit here haha. I decided to keep her regular hair and color in it.
- And
Malicai_fox as Cosmo from Fairly Odd parents. Again kept his hair color and style.
Can't wait to use these as badges!

Gosh, I really loved that movie. Course, I've always and still do love almost all disney films, but I've never really gotten obsessed with a character to the point of wanting to dress up, other then when I was really young of course. Butttt, I'd totally be Rapunzel one day haha
I made mine by hand.
The first go-round, I made the corset separate from the dress. I'm currently remaking it to make the whole thing one piece so that it'll fit better and will lay flatter against my waist. I would suggest doing the dress in one piece, avoid having a separate corset, especially if you have a non-flat chest (boobs will make it harder to get the front lacing to look good when you are moving around.)

Hers isn't one piece, no, but it's the front of the top which is the biggest issue. If you make the top all one piece (not an open front) it would lay better, but having the front open like a corset is really awkward and the laces won't stay nice and even. :( This is the biggest issue, I found.
Good luck! :D
Good luck! :D
Right right! Sorry for the mix up on that one! So have a top and a skirt. Not just one dress. :) Back zipper works best on the top. The in park Disney girls are good references, if you're looking! Their hair goes over one shoulder, so you can see the back construction really well. :D
I actually found a great site for dress details: http://www.squidoo.com/disneys-rapunzel-costume
omg this site was my bible. :D
