As I looked out my window, this time it was into the black night sky, filled with stars as we have no light pollution here. The feeling rose up inside of me... lonelyness. Equus isn't home yet, and I miss him.
The stars conveyed to me a sense of majesty, but by the end of it all, realization sunk back in as I came back to my senses that I was still very much alone.
This song tells a story about my life, to those willing to listen. If I get to play at Furfright, I think I will play a story for them, too.

Indeed, you write such perfect tales.
God, I love you. ;.;

Well, it sounds great. I've owned acoustic pianos, and while I love to play them, keeping them tuned and working can be a real pain. Especially if you can only afford old, well-used instruments which is my situation. They are also very much NOT portable. My last one was an old upright with a player mechanism. It weighed at least half a ton, and had to be tuned every month just to keep it so I could stand to play on it. Obviously I learned to do my own tuning, could never have afforded it otherwise. When we moved to our farm in 1998 I gave the piano away. Too heavy to move and no room in the house out here. I kept my Wurlitzer organ though, which is just as heavy and larger than the piano when you count the speaker cabinets. Now that needs electronic repairs that would cost more than it's worth, so it's gathering dust. Sigh.
