Bow-chicka-bow-wow
There, now that that's out of the way... Ta-da! Sorry for the long hiatus everyone, I've had a busy busy summer...year... thingie. But, I decided to stay up a couple of nights this past week to get one of these done.
I'm sure you'll notice something slightly different about this comic, seeing as the three people I've already shown this to's first statement was "Color?" I tied a little experiment with this one and it turns out that doing it in flat colors takes just about the same amount of time as doing it entirely in greyscale. Mostly because I've had to start going back and sampling character colors to make the greys correct anyways, so it's about the same. So I need you guys to tell me what you think, do you like the flat colors, or would you prefer me to drop it back to greys? Both seem to take the same amount of time. It was the shading that was killing me xp
Also, I just love the 4th and 5th frames. Neos' expressions just came out so good x3 So I feel the urge to link a close-up of just the lineart: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6601090/
The moral of the story is, don't pick on fire-breathing creatures. Despite their size, you're just as flammable either way XP

in the preview Neos' sad face looked sadder, here it looks like hes tired to me :I i think the eyebrows arent expressing the right emotion
also flat color is always better than flat grayscale

you know, I was wondering how long before somebody asked that. My guess would be A) due to his sudden loss of size, he was having trouble coping with not being able to do things how he's been used to doing them for a long time, or B) The ceiling isn't high enough for him to do that without bonking his head or getting his horns stuck, or C) It would have nullified the point of the comic
But I dunno, why don't you go ask Neos. *Puts on ears* I'm just your friendly, every-day, green rat! http://www.furaffinity.net/view/413.....che=1317519162
