Okay so i have been told Quite Often that My Sketches are better then My Inkings/colors. *shrugs* That's one good Reason i don't post to Often. i do understand my inkings/colors and My Sketches have different Qualities to them. *snickers* anyway. Just Seeing what you guys think. this is Aku Before i Ink him. and i Probably won't bother Posting him after i do. Lol. just a quick ckribble to no more then a minute.. let me know what you guys think on this topic.

I would never say that your sketches are better or worse than your inked/colored pictures. They are simply different.
Especially when dealing with personal art, sketches tend to have a rawness to them that captures the mood and emotions of the artist. But it's the inking and coloring that brings the subject matter to life. The results of both should not be compared or contrasted, other than using them to better understand the artist and the art. The migration from sketch to finished piece can often offer a greater appreciation for the art, by allowing the viewer to get a sense of what the artist's original thoughts on the scene were, as compared to what they turned it into as a finished picture.

Mista' Rodent is the rat to go to with the answers! *giggles* thats what i was thinking myself was that My Sketching has a feel to It. because its just a Raw Form. people see it and kinda' make their own Details Out through the Rough Draft so there for they think its "better" As if It Had more detail. I don't know it Was just a Theory i had due to being told many many times i shouldn't ink and color LMAO! oh well i have fun doing it. =D! so they can Suffer! haha. =3 Thank you Rodent. you're Always one to bring things into a nice perspective for me! *wags licking you with his long broad tongue and then pats you on the head with his huge forepaw* Haha. thank you my friend!! =D!
