Heh, this reminds me of the minotaurs (a player character race) from an old MUD I used to play, called Feudal Realms.

They were described as a spiritual, nature- and sea-loving race, and you could even make them clerics and druids. Not like their usual portrayal of prowling around labyrinths and brutally hitting things with giant axes. Or being proprietors of china shops.

In short, nice one.
