I think this is pretty much done, however it might evolve some later. I started with the main keyboard line in GarageBand on my iPad. I added some bass, the bass synth and drums are from Bassline and Modrum on my iPad. Also used the software synths Absynth and FM8. My music partner Jordan added the small guitar part over the lyrics. This is also my first real shot at double-tracking my vocals.

I think my low end just overpowers a tad bit. My monitors don't have much low end, so when I mix there, I end up overcompensating and putting a little much. But I'm happy with everything else. Just need to get more used to my monitors, or break down and get a subwoofer :P. Thanks for the critique! :)
Thanks for the comment! :) I started writing it in GarageBand for the iPad, but the only part I kept and recorded straight from that was the main keyboard riff. However the bass synth sequence and drums are from two other iPad apps. Added bass/guitar and a couple software synths from Native Instruments. The pic is totally random :P
At first I thought his was an insental track, but then the lyrics arrived. This piece is very subtle and smooth. Not sure about the delay on the voice though. For some reason it made things feel a bit faster paced than the rest of the song. Otherwise well done, and easy listening.
