Ahh, I know what you mean, when the Games Workshop near me closed I thought it was online ordering only for me. But I found a number of independent retailers near me, some of them with game tables and stuff! I've got the money problem myself, but with all the models I still have to work on and the fact that I offer to do commissioned models for people helps alleviate that a bit. ^^

I think the model itself cost around $35 before taxes, but they're phasing out metal models for finecast resin now so if someone wanted one they'd have to order one in at the hobby store they'd get it from. And what's this discussion? :3

Actually yeah I do play Warhammer 40000, although the frequency has been reduced to once every two weeks due to my other activities. I've started doing recorded battle reports when I do play though! :)

well...someone told me that the game system for Warhammer and Warhammer 40k is broke and that Games workshop only wants their fans money.

Ahh, don't know why they'd say that. They must have stopped before the updates in the previous couple years. Things are mostly evened out now and the older stuff is finally getting much needed updates. Besides, the models for 40k can be applied to Dark heresy for character avatars, so I'm quite happy with them as it is. ^_^

I might pick up Warmachine or Hordes at some point though, they look rather interesting.

I have always had a spot in my heart for the Destroyer Lord.
Have you seen that other model - the "Necron lord with Warsythe" - my friend Kev cut that up, and added it to a destroyer base- and even left that flowing cape (bent to flow over the destroyer hover-butt). Looks real nice.

Oh I am SO jealous of him. I've wanted one of those guys for a long time now. Though I have to say, I'm seriously liking the "Destroyer Pariahs" idea now that I think about it... -makes a written note- Yeah, definitely going to have to make a small squad of them once I have some good money rolling in. :3
