Practice is the biggest thing that'll get you somewhere, along side with confidence. Art is difficult and wears you down. It's actually a good thing to dislike your art, it means you try harder to get better, but there's a point where it goes overboard, you need to have a tad bit of confidence. So don't wish, practice! You'll be proud of all the work you've done c:

This is good advice, in my opinion -- you have to balance self-confidence with self-criticality. Too much self-confidence and you'll never improve, but not enough and you'll never show your work to anybody and might not even draw anything. This is basically the same thing you just said, though. :)
