Hooray, FINALLY got the full costume for Chevron, my striped Hyena. Showing off those riding breeches and boots, not to mention lacy frills.

If you have a men's shoe-size 10 and under, you can probably find cheaper pairs (saw a decent pair for 80$).
If you're size 12, like me, be prepaired to pay up the rear for 'authentic' english riding boots.
Also keep in mind, they're not designed for walking, they fit up just above the rotation line of the knee.
They're also designed to be close to the leg, I had to get a wider set (thank goodness I got it right first time around) against the calf, around 17" around the calf (usually 16" otherwise).
If you don't care, try finding a pair of costume boots instead.
